Great service

This Maker has consistently demonstrated excellence in craftsmanship and customer service.

Custom sewing at its best! I do everything from basic mending to creating your dream wedding dress and everything in between. From cushions, to prom to curtains to Dance costumes, I can do it all.

I started sewing when I was in high school as a way to express my creative side. Both my mom and grandma were seamstresses and I found that I was pretty good at it too. While I never gave it up, life got to be hectic. We lost my younger brother when I was a senior in High School and then with college, getting married and having children it just got set off to the side.

Our first born was named Anthony Peter on January 8th, 2010. My aunt, who is determined to give every child born in my family a nickname, dubbed him Tony Bud (short for Anthony and Peter - my brother who we named him after and who had the nickname Bud - yes by the same aunt). Two months later my husband lost his job. In a way, I guess the saying "Necessity is the Mother of Invention" greatly applied to what would follow in our lives.

As it happened, my next door neighbor at the time needed new outdoor cushions made for her patio. I, in passing, said I knew how to make them. She was elated and went out that day, bought all the materials and wrote me a check for my service. It was at that point that I realized I could turn what was once a hobby into a business.

Later that same year, I started doing craft shows. We didn't have a name picked out yet for the business and when we were asked, my husband and I looked at each other and said "Tony Bud's". Thus Tony Bud's Sewing was born.

It has been 5 years now since I started sewing again on a full time basis. We now have three growing boys and run a "in town" farm with my parents. Our lives are full and very blessed.

I take great pride in what I make. For that reason alone, all of my projects always come with my personal satisfaction guarantee. You will always receive pictures of your item before final payment is due. Based on the measurements you send me, the item is guaranteed to fit. If alterations are necessary, I will cover the cost of said alterations.

I have helped to create stunning dresses for women, great coats for men, as well as something as simple as a blanket for a new mommy to be. I try not to limit myself in what I can do and I am always happy to work with anyone that needs custom work done. I strive to make your dream and vision a reality. I look forward to the years ahead and the many new people that my family and I will meet along the way.

Everything was late I am very glad I didn't order on a time table. The dress was supposed to be finished in October 2018 but I didn't get it until Jan 2019. That being said the work is perfect and worth every penny. If I ever have to get something custom made I will come back to Ms Becky.

The project was supposed to be mailed by 12/20/18, in order to arrive by Christmas. When it wasn't mailed on-time, I purchased other Christmas gifts for my son, as I was concerned I was being scammed. I texted the maker, and she indicated that she was shipping the project out via overnight express, and that she has been awake for 36 hours completing various projects for clients. The project did end-up being mailed 12/22/18, but I didn't receive it until 12/24/18. When I opened the FedEx envelope, I immediately got a migraine. The costume smelled horribly of smoke; I am allergic to smoke. When I asked the maker about the smoke smell, she indicated that she did not smoke. Thereafter, she followed-up and said that no one in her home smokes. Regardless, I had to remove the smoke smell, so I asked the maker about care instructions for the project. She indicated to hand wash the item, which I did. When I washed the project by hand with water and Woolite, the blue color rubbed-off of the fabric. I don't know that I can blame the maker for this, as I chose the fabric via various internet URLs that were sent to me. However, I had no idea the fabric couldn't be laundered, or I wouldn't have chosen it (toddlers who wear costumes every day are obviously going to need them laundered.) This project was supposed to fulfill a seven-month-long dream for my son who is nearly five-years-old. I had no choice, but to let him open it on Christmas, regardless. He was surprised, and happy, but immediately remarked that the antenna on the mask were flopping over (not properly secured), and that the blue was rubbed-off of the fabric. Overall, I would have been satisfied, had the following occurred: 1). project been mailed according to the contract, 2). project not exposed to smoke, 3). project made with a fabric that could be laundered, and 4). antenna been secured on the mask. Overall, I am feeling like I did not receive the value that I paid for. I will be leary of working through this website, going-forward, as this was my first experience with CustomMade. sjm

All payments made are NOT refundable. Payments made cover materials and my labor. All materials purchased are not returnable and my labor is not free. Please remember you not just paying for the item but for my time to create it. Due to recent changes as well as other legal issues, TBS can no longer discuss your project or any aspects of the project with anyone other than the person who has signed the contract/accepted the proposal. If you have any issues or concerns and do not feel comfortable reporting them and wish to have someone else discuss these problems/concerns, TBS MUST have written (ink copy only - emails will NOT be accepted) permission signed by the client. If anyone other than the client calls, emails or texts and wishes to discuss the project, TBS will politely decline to speak with them. All phone conversations are also now recorded and will be kept on file for the life of TBS. If you need to cancel for reasons such as death, injury or a natural disaster the remaining payment(s) will be made null and void. If you cancel for reasons such as finding another dress/item or a break up/cancelation of the event and I have NOT started on making the dress/item OR the pattern has not been finished the remaining payments will be null and void. If I have started on the dress/item or the pattern is finished all payments will still be due. If you choose not to pay, an invoice will then be sent to a collection agency for payment. If I (Tony Bud's Sewing- TBS), chooses to cancel the project due to a major personal problem on my end resulting in hospitalization or death, all payments made will be refunded. TBS also reserves the right to cancel with NO REFUND AT ALL if the client has hostile\*\*\* attitudes toward TBS or any of its' staff (including emails, text messages, FB Messages, phone calls or personal face to face time), a refusal to pay more if major changes are needed/wanted per the clients request or if threats, either physical or verbal, are issued. \*\*\*Hostile is defined as screaming, yelling, name calling, offensive or derogatory terms either verbally or written; continuous harassment, vindictiveness, and/or degrading remarks. If TBS feels that there are minor changes needed, the client will be advised of this and will NOT be charged for it. TBS will assume all costs associated with the changes that TBS makes. All items once completed are NOT refundable. NO REFUNDS will be issued as every effort is made to ensure that you are 110% happy with your item, however if you receive it and find that you don't like it due to personal preference that is out of my hands. Detailed pictures are always sent and changes are allowed prior to me sending your item. If you receive the item and it is damaged in anyway please report this immediately and we will do everything in our power to fix the problem. Every item made is covered Tony Bud's Sewing personal satisfaction guarantee as well. Our guarantee to you is that your item will fit you perfectly based on the measurements you send me. If the item needs to be altered I will pay to have you return it to me and I will fix it free of charge if your measurements have not changed. If they have and you have NOT notified me prior to completion, charges may be applied. Each project is dealt with on a case by case basis. If you choose to take the garment to an independent alteration specialist the satisfaction guarantee becomes null and void. I must be given the opportunity to correct any sizing issues prior to you taking it to someone local to yourself. This guarantee is also null and void if you fail to let TBS know if you measurements/weight have changed prior to the project being done. TBS will always check to ensure that no measurements have changed but please be proactive in ensuring that your item will fit perfectly. Please always ask if you have any questions. I am always happy to go over everything in greater detail and work as closely as possible with you to ensure and guarantee you get the item that you were dreaming of. If for any reason you feel that I have not met your expectations PLEASE PLEASE contact me!!!! I will ALWAYS do whatever is in my power to make you happy. However, rudeness and condescending attitudes will not be tolerated. I strive to treat all of my clients with honesty, respect and a very warm friendly attitude. I try to create lasting relationships with my clients and for the most part, become friends with many of them. I ask that any client return the same.
