About Me
Twenty-five years ago we instantly fell in love with a 100-year-old farmhouse. We reveled in its unique architecture, old world craftsmanship and a chance to preserve history. All through the years since then it became the ultimate outlet to perfect both my artistic and carpentry skills.
About My Business
My disdain for mass-produced furnishings lead me to the creation of many unique custom-made pieces. By combining a passion for historical materials with modern design, I was able to preserve a bit of the past into the future. Old barn wood was transformed into tables, bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets and anything else I could apply my artistry to. Broken Mexican tile was fashioned into beautiful mosaic inlays. Collected stones, shells and driftwood were melded with old growth wood to recreate natural beauty.

For Transforming table (coffee into dining)
Ron made a "transforming table" for me. With limited space in my Chicago condo, I needed a coffee table that turns into a dining table. I had sent about 4 different ideas before deciding on a final design (over the course of a couple months). He was very patient and open to my ideas, challenging as they may be. Once decided on the design, Ron was very professional and had kept open communication on the progress, providing photos over the course. It took a bit longer to finish than what was originally proposed, but that was fine with me as I prefer to have a perfect product rather than a rushed product. The table is what I had imagined it to be. I'm already getting compliments from my friends. I'd definitely work with Ron again, and would highly recommend. I'm a very happy customer here!

Ron was wonderful to work with. He was engaged and communicative every step of the way. There were a couple of things that caused the work to take a bit longer, but he was on top of checking in with me and it was absolutely worth the wait. I am so happy with how the shelves turned out and it really brought my vision for the space to life. He took a lot of time packing up the shelves so that they would be safe during shipping and even sent the instructions along with the mounts, screws and drill bits needed for installation. Ron's care and expertise is clearly visible in the quality of his craftsmanship.

I take great pride in my work. If you buy something and are unsatisfied with the result, I guarantee that I will work with you to adjust the design free of charge. All products are guaranteed from any defects due to craftsmanship and will be fixed at no expense to the customer. Custom work is non-refundable and once in-progress, custom projects cannot be cancelled. For stock items purchased directly from my portfolio, I offer returns within 60 days of delivery. Shipping for returns is at the customer's expense. If you need an item by a specific date or for a specific event, please let me know in advance of accepting a proposal.
