I am Southern Illinois based designer and custom builder with 18 years experience in metal fabrications, carpentry and custom installations. My background in both sculpture and architecture have helped in developing the capacity to recognize the spatial implications and conceptual potency of the objects with which we interact daily.
I have a particular interest in objects and installations that produce spatial relationships between users, program shifts and versatility, and help the owner/occupant express themselves through the act of dwelling.
I believe in the intuitions of my clients, and work to maintain an open dialogue and a collaborative spirit. As such, I often work in association with area design/build groups and local craftspeople in order to broaden my capacity to serve my clients' interests.

For Renata's Steel Bench Ends
Pros: Joshua and I agreed on 2 raw steel bench ends back in October. They are the exact dimensions I requested and I can see his excellent craftsmanship. Cons: The bench ends that arrived are black and I specifically requested raw steel, so I did not receive what I requested/paid for (upfront). Communication was a big problem with this maker - I had to ask CustomMade to intervene after he ignored two (very friendly!) messages inquiring about the status of my order for weeks. They shipped 3 weeks later than what we had agreed upon.

Shipping Policy
Area served: Products shipped nationwide. Custom installations in the Southern Illinois and Tri-State regional area. Shipping Methods: Common Carrier, or LTL Freight
Maker Policy
Refunds: Upon failure to meet any of the services or commitments outlined in the Project Proposal, with the exception of circumstances beyond reasonable control, change orders, or delayed correspondence on behalf of the Buyer, Object A is wiling to negotiate a refund to be subtracted from the final payment. Such a refund will be proportionate to the damages and inconveniences understood and agreed to by both parties. Returns: No Returns. Once a project is completed and a final payment is received Object A will not accept any returns. Be sure to unpack and inspect your products for damage immediately upon delivery. Cancellation: Object A begins the process of sourcing materials for your project immediately upon receiving initial payments. Should a Buyer need to cancel a project for reasons unrelated to the Maker's performance and professionalism, a 25% restocking fee will be withheld to cover expenses related to project initiation.
