Laurie And Danika's Birthday Quilt
This quilt has a really special story behind it.. Our customer wanted a quilt made for her twin sister for her birthday, and she wanted some specific things represented on the quilt that her sister enjoys. She also wanted the embroidered names to "cross" in the middle as represented because they both share the same middle name. This quilt was fun to design for her and we think it turned out really beautiful.

She understood what I was looking for, was open to my input and suggestions, and had some great ideas to make the quilt look absolutely beautiful! It arrived this morning, and my family members are SO pleased with the creative way she depicted our photos in the "icy waters"/glacier part of the quilt. Not too many photos as to overwhelm, but well executed for my vision of an Alaskan Memories quilt. You wont be disappointed working with Songs and Stitches.

Amanda thought of design elements that made it unique and pulled the entire project together. She even suggested a lighter batting so the quilt could be used year round (which is what I wanted). She has a wonderful eye for color, design and layout so the quilt turned out just perfect. Her quilting expertise is unmatched by any I have ever seen.
