a way of life. Whether playing on the red clay hills
of Pontotoc County, Mississippi, in the good ole
USA on imaginary quests or riding
our bike down gravel roads pretending to be in the circus,
life was always full of adventure.
Life has brought many hardships my way
but with each I have learned that only I limit myself.
Life is a challenge, of which I am a survivor
& a conqueror.
I love to be creative no matter what I'm doing.
God has blessed me with joy through sewing, writing,
sculpting, drawing, & also thru the simple things of
life.
My husband & I enjoy spending time
alone or with the house full of family.

Dec 30, 2013I live on an island, a very beautiful island, but am thus limited in possibility and choice of finding a seamstress. When I put up my. Project description I was amazed and thrilled at receiving interest in my projects so quickly, but had hoped for a response from someone who lives closer to me. After some back and forth messages with Kathy Lee , I was truly inspired to try the long distance approach, and boy was I RIGHT! We decided I would send a trial item to see how we both felt about doing more. She was, is perfect from a to z. We were in constant, and easy contact from start to finish, and I. Am looking forward to continuing work with her across the miles which had been a big concern of mine! A dream come true......and I might add that I am what one might call a tough customer? My scarf is done exactly the way I wanted it to be, and our being in constant constant when necessary was a big plus for me. I highly recommend Kathy!

It happened that my dress shrank a bit after the initial wash and she asked me to send it back to her for alteration at no extra cost. Amazing!

Jun 20, 2016First of all, let me just say I love Kathy Lee aka GabbiGirlz!!!!! The outfit that she made for me is outstanding!!! I love it!!! I can't stop gushing over it. When I tried it on, I couldn't stop smiling. My boyfriend even complimented on how great the outfit looks on me. The communication, detailed information, explanations for minor changes(to make things work), and skill were phenomenal!!!! She is very knowledgeable about what she's doing. I'm trying to control my happiness while I type this so I don't ramble. I got the outfit a week ahead of the deadline. When issues popped up(material, color, etc.), she knew just how to make things work. SHE EVEN DYED THE MATERIAL!!!! so I'd have the color I wanted. I can't say enough!!! Using today's slang, she slaaaaaayed!!!!! this outfit!!! She gets 10s across the board!!! If you want something made, she is the person to do it. I'm actually wearing my outfit while I type this because I don't want to get out of it. That's how much I love it. I will take it off as soon as I hit send so that it is fresh for the event that I am wearing it to. LOVE IT!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Aug 20, 2014She chose a lightweight fabric for a costume that was breathable and still looked like what I wanted. She is very knowledgeable on different fabrics and materials to make items from. She also made me a mask that was excellent quality too.
