Classic bed design in pine. Sturdy mortise and tenon construction of headboard and footboard. Side rails attach via steel hanging hardware and drop in slats support the mattress. These beds dissassemble easily for moving or storage. As pictured: both full and queen sizes Available via custom order in a variety of wood species or finish colors. Our focus on furniture happened many years ago (25+) as a result of some left-over lumber, the need for a bench by the backdoor, and a frugal resourceful nature that told us to give it a try. The bench turned out beautiful (we still use it every day), the experiment turned to a hobby, the hobby to an obsession, the obsession to a journey… We design and build custom furniture on commission. Our shop specializes in made to order custom furniture specifically for individual clients.

Nov 17, 2013I just delivered the chopping board made for my brother-in-law's 50th birthday. The entire family could not get over how beautiful it is. Amy Gless made it all easy for us from the proposed idea to the final project. She sent photos of each step along the way. I made a booklet out of them and included it with the gift. It was a 50th birthday, so we wanted the gift to be special. I could not be happier. I hope to have one made by Amy for myself in the future and highly recommend her work!!!

Nov 5, 2016We are so Happy with our bench and chairs ! They match our custom made table. Communication was very easy, I sent pictures and dimensions. Our project was finished before time . She drove down on a Sunday to deliver and it was like Christmas! I highly recommend Glessboards for your project. You could never find this kind of craftsmanship in a store. If I had a larger house ...... thanks again for completing our table.

Jan 26, 2018We are delighted with the beautiful table and chairs we ordered from Glessboards. Amy was extremely easy to work with, and her wood products are beautiful. We had originally ordered just one table but decided to get a set of chairs to go with it. We are very happy with the products -- extremely well made and attractive. They also were finished more than a month earlier than the original estimate. Their other products are beautiful as well--they can make tables, chairs, and more from lovely wood to one's precise specifications. They gave us some excellent choices in terms of wood type and finish. We had looked in standard furniture stores, but couldn't find there precisely what we had wanted (a smaller yet very attractive simple wooden table for an open kitchen / hallway / sittting area). Going for custom made is perfect, and I highly recommend Amy Gless and Glessboards!
