Our focus on furniture happened many years ago (25+) as a result of some left-over lumber, the need for a bench by the backdoor, and a frugal resourceful nature that told us to give it a try. The bench turned out beautiful (we still use it every day), the experiment turned to a hobby, the hobby to an obsession, the obsession to a journey… We design and build custom furniture on commission. Our shop specializes in made to order custom furniture specifically for individual clients.

Apr 15, 2019I used Amy and Nick (Glessboards) for a custom credenza for my dining room and the piece they delivered was excellent. The entire process was smooth and Amy kept me updated the entire process. She was very communicative and responsive plus she helped resolve some minor detail work that I hadn't provided at the outset. Their shop is about two hours away so I had them deliver my piece and they were on time and really helpful getting it into the house. I would recommend using Amy and Nick for any custom build project.

Aug 13, 20185 Stars for every measure. I had a lot of demands for this table. It needed to fit into a small NY apartment and expand to seat 8. I needed sufficient leg room (space from the apron to the floor) to use it as a desk and cross my legs. It also needed to blend with my sort-of-vintage decor. The final product is GORGEOUS and does everything I need it to. The expansion/engineering part of the table is smooth and elegant. Amy was patient and sent me numerous finish samples as I decided on the final color of the table. Communication throughout the process was timely and photos were provided in various stages of development. I would definitely work with Amy again if I ever need another custom piece. Friends are already asking where I got this beautiful table and I'm happily providing Amy's contact information. Thank you to Amy for such a smooth and enjoyable process and amazing final product!
