Because it is that time of year, I will borrow a quote from Ralphie's teacher in "A Christmas Story": A++++++++++++++++++! Truly an outstanding experience from start to finish. I have been in the Wood business with a very large company so I was concerned about purchasing a product from a person where you could only see pictures. We went to visit Amy in her shop to see some finished products and develop a comfort level with her craftsmanship. Her facility was first rate as were the many pieces of finished product she was able to show that she had made for her family. We reviewed the project, she made several recommended changes and we accepted all of them and she saved us money also. When we went to pick up the finished products her work exceeded our expectations with the incredible detail. We would recommend her work to anyone!

I just received my dining room set earlier this week, and I am thrilled with it. It isn't just furniture; it's a work of art! Amy did an amazing job, and she was a pleasure to work with. Ordering custom furniture was a first with me, but I saw a picture of this set and knew it was what I wanted after years of looking. Amy was so patient and helpful--she answered all of my questions, and made suggestions and recommendations when I needed some help deciding what wood to use. She walked me through the process and kept me fully updated. I couldn't have had a better experience, and will not hesitate to work with her again for future furniture needs.

We can't say enough about how pleased we are with the experience of working with Amy Gless of Glessboards and with the finished project they delivered. We wanted a king size bed with storage drawers under the platform and storage in the headboard. Our bedroom has windows on two sides, closets on the third and the entry door and ensuite bathroom on the fourth. The bed could only go on a window wall. Critical to our requirements was the headboard had to be of a height to fit under our bedroom windows. We shopped on-line and in many local furniture stores. Many beds had storage, but always their headboards blocked our windows. Amy worked hard, through several rounds of design, to meet our requirements, making suggestions based on her experience and accepting our ideas too. Also important was matching the finish of our existing bedroom furniture. Amy prepared two rounds of samples until we found a practically identical finish. Amy was upfront about timing (5 to 6 months) and pricing. She delivered and assembled the bed right at the 6 month mark, at the contracted price, which was very comparable to the beds we had seen at furniture stores, except the bed Amy built for us met our design requirements. We would not hesitate to contract with Glessboards and Amy Gless in the future.

I used Amy and Nick (Glessboards) for a custom credenza for my dining room and the piece they delivered was excellent. The entire process was smooth and Amy kept me updated the entire process. She was very communicative and responsive plus she helped resolve some minor detail work that I hadn't provided at the outset. Their shop is about two hours away so I had them deliver my piece and they were on time and really helpful getting it into the house. I would recommend using Amy and Nick for any custom build project.
